Edmund Doyah-Tiemo pursued his education with a focus on banking, finance, and leadership.
He earned the Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, London (ACIB) in 1982, establishing a solid professional foundation in financial services.
Two years later, in 1984, he completed a Master of Science degree in Banking and Finance at the University of Ibadan, one of Nigeria’s foremost institutions.
Beyond his formal qualifications, Doyah-Tiemo undertook extensive professional development through specialized courses and international programs.
He trained at the Manchester Business School, International Banking Center, Manchester, where he studied risk appraisal and management.
He also attended Clive Davidson’s Assertive Refusal Skills Course in London, enhancing his capacity for negotiation and decision-making.
His expertise in financial management was further strengthened through specialized courses on the administration of World Bank SSE/SME and African Development Bank (ESL) facilities.
In October 2015, he joined leaders at the Africa Oil and Gas Summit in London, participating in a governance and strategy master class for decision-makers.
Later, in April 2019, he attended Developing an Impactful & Effective Board, a TEXEM UK program designed to equip strategic leaders with the skills to provide direction and ensure organizations achieve their corporate objectives.
